The vantage point is 1.8 km from the entrance gate. There is no vehicle access on NYE and visitors need to be able to walk this distance.

Bus
Buses run regularly to Manly. You will need to continue on foot to reach North Head. Allow extra time.
Ferry
Last ferry to Manly leaves Circular Quay at 4:45pm.
Getting home
Pedestrian diversions are in place on New Year’s Eve. The way you arrive, may be different to how you get home. Be prepared for a longer walk to transport hubs.
Bus
Buses near Manly Wharf will use different stops due to road closures, check signs and plan ahead.
Ferry
Due to the midnight fireworks in the city, the first ferry to leave Manly Wharf will be at 12:30am
