With views of Sydney Harbour, the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, Fleet Steps is a great place to experience New Year's Eve. Guests will enjoy views of our magnificent harbour and fireworks. Bars will sell a selection of beverages and light snacks. Food trucks will offer a variety of menus.

    Roads near the gardens will close from early morning, plan ahead if catching taxis or rideshare. 

Getting home

  • Pedestrian diversions will be in place on New Year’s Eve. The way you leave may be different to how you arrived. Be prepared for a longer walk to transport hubs. Follow directions of NSW Police and staff.
